AI Research Experience

Our work across AI markets, platforms, and research methods.

Management Insight brings together established research design, specialized audiences, and practical experience with AI-focused business questions.

AI Core Metrics

Global AI Platform and Application Research

Management Insight has run large-scale quantitative AI Core Metrics studies across global markets, examining topics such as AI applications, agents, platform providers, deployment patterns, AI strategy, technical priorities, and data needs.

AI-Enabled Healthcare Technology

Healthcare AI Adoption and Purchasing Dynamics

Management Insight conducted research with healthcare technology decision-makers and influencers to understand purchase drivers, vendor perceptions, pricing and packaging preferences, adoption barriers, and future investment plans for AI-enabled solutions.

Four AI Focus Areas

Where AI fits into our research work.

Management Insight’s AI work sits at the intersection of market research, research operations, interviewing methods, and emerging tools that may help teams explore ideas faster without replacing real evidence.

Primary Research in AI Markets

Primary research helps organizations understand AI adoption, platform selection, use cases, buying dynamics, pricing, packaging, vendor perceptions, business strategy, and technical requirements.

AI Interviewing & Moderation

AI moderation improves scheduling flexibility, respondent access, and research scalability within narrow timeframes, though human moderators remain essential when depth, nuance, context, and thoughtful follow-up matter most.

Synthetic Respondent Prototyping

Synthetic respondents may support early-stage prototyping, hypothesis development, theoretical modeling, and internal exploration. They should not replace real respondents or primary market evidence.

Panel Pulse Study

Respondents are open to AI moderation, but human judgment still matters.

In Management Insight’s Panel Pulse study, panelists showed openness to AI-moderated interviews, especially when AI offers flexible scheduling, direct questions, and a self-paced experience. But the same study also showed that trust has not fully caught up with openness.

65% of panelists are open to AI-moderated interviews
42% have already participated in an AI-moderated interview
67% of those with prior experience rated it positively
64% still believe humans are more effective at capturing depth and context

Synthetic Respondents

Useful for prototyping. Not yet a replacement.

Synthetic respondents are an emerging area of research experimentation. Management Insight’s approach is cautious: they may be useful in some exploratory contexts, but they should not be treated as a substitute for actual respondents or primary market evidence.

Where the risk begins

Synthetic respondents can create false confidence when they are treated as real market evidence, especially for pricing, demand, message resonance, or buyer behavior.

Our position

Synthetic respondents can be useful as a research design and communication aid, but they should not replace actual respondents, actual behavior, or primary market data.
